When can I start using my coverage?
Your coverage will be retroactive to your COBRA effective date, which is the day after the day in which you lost coverage with your employer. If you have an upcoming appointment or important prescription you need, we recommend enrolling in COBRA and submitting your first payment for coverage as soon as you can.
Once you’ve enrolled and paid through Kept, we’ll submit your enrollment to the carrier(s). Once it’s in their hands, it can take 7-10 business days to receive ID cards in the mail.
